Make-A-Wish Partners with Railbookers Group for a Special Cause

Railbookers Group and Make-A-Wish have teamed up to raise money to grant the wishes of children with critical illness.

Railbookers announced that in addition to the corporate donation and trip, customers booking [Railbookers or Amtrak Vacations] can donate $1 per passenger traveling (or £1 for customers based in United Kingdom) towards Make-A Wish.

Railbookers Group will donate a matching amount to Make-A-Wish.

LuAnn Bott is vice president for revenue partnerships and services, Make-A-Wish America. She said, “A diagnosis can upend childhood and bring months and even years of fear and trauma to a child’s life and family.”

Railbookers Group is a group of supporters who make it possible to grant wishes.

Frank Marini, President & CEO of Railbookers Group, said: “This partnership was a natural fit for us – we offer world-class customer service every day to our customers who travel independently on rail holidays around the globe.

We are thrilled to be able to help these children, who are suffering from some of the most serious critical illnesses. The trips of their dreams can not only give them an incredible experience, but has in many cases proven to lead to a more positive outcome for their health.
