Palladium Hotel Group, a Spanish company that operates all-inclusive TRS Hotels in the Dominican Republic and Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts throughout Jamaica and Mexico, wants to surprise its guests by revealing the hidden gems within the resorts.
The company has invested heavily in providing top-notch entertainment and fine international cuisine. It also offers extensive family amenities, as well as training its staff to provide excellent customer service.
A Commitment to Advisors
Palladium Hotel Group values its travel advisors.
Pilar Arizmendi Stewart, Palladium Hotel Group VP Sales and Marketing of the Americas said the company will relaunch its travel partner program.
She said, “We’re about to relaunch Booking Pro in Palladium Connect.” This is a fantastic tool and we want to make sure travel advisors use it.
We are grateful to travel advisors. Arizmendi Stewart added, “We depend on travel agents nearly 100 percent.” The travel advisor community has always been and will continue to be the most important component of our worldwide success. They are our first line of business when it comes bringing tourists to our destinations.
Palladium also offers a tier-based commission structure that pays more with increasing bookings. Plus, the commission rate is 14 percent.
Grand Palladium Jamaica Hotel & Spa
This focus will be exemplified by “Palladium Unveiled,” in which the company reveals the extensive refurbishments of Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa, in Montego Bay, and Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa, in Riviera Maya.
“I visited Jamaica recently and was very pleasantly surprised,” Pilar Arizmendi Stewart, Palladium VP Sales and Marketing of the Americas said. “We’ve spent almost $28 millions.”
Rooms and common areas are being refreshed
The project included the refurbishment of all common areas, as well as all hotel rooms. This includes 48 suites divided into two categories: 40 Superior Junior Suites Private Pool Ocean View, and eight Superior Suites Private Pool Oceanfront View. The swim-up suites feature a private terrace and pool with seating, and some even have a wooden pergola.
Arizmendi Stewart said that the new furniture is more modern in all of her rooms. Some guest room bathrooms feature hydromassage showers and bathtubs.
The iconic Infinity Saloon Bar was also renovated. The open-air patio now features elegant awnings, lounge-style furniture including sofas and armchairs. The furniture fabrics in this area are black and white stripes that mesh with the mural of the national bird, the hummingbird.
The lobby has been updated with furniture and solid wood in the English Colonial style. White lattice and mirrors have been used to update the reception.
Culinary Offerings
The capacity of the MoBay Show-Cooking Restaurant, which is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, was increased to 286 diners. The space is divided into four zones by screens and now features two new food stations that offer a wider variety of dishes and products.
The swimming pools are heated by a heat pump system, which is efficient and energy-saving.
Grand Palladium Hotel Kantenah Resort and Spa
Meanwhile, in the popular Riviera Maya area south of Cancun, the Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa is undergoing a $48 million renovation, which Arizmendi-Stewart said would make it “basically the newest hotel in the destination.” It will include the company’s luxury Family Selection hotel-with-in-a-hotel that features a Family Host, or butler service, for families available 24/7. She said that “kids are VIPs at Family Selection.” “We have 64 amenities available for them.”
The completion of the major project should be expected in late this year.
New Entertainment Options
Palladium offers new entertainment options that are as exciting as its Chic Cabaret & Restaurant. Chic Cabaret, a three-hour high-energy show, features glittery costumes, dancers and aerialists. During the show, guests can enjoy a multi-course menu. The show can be seen at the TRS Hotel complex in Punta Caa, Dominican Republic and the TRS hotels in Costa Mujeres, Mexico and Riviera Maya.
Le Petit Chef and BRAVO Dine & Dance Experience are two of the new entertainment options.
The company stated that BRAVO was a concept aimed at giving a differentiating value to Grand Palladium and, at the same, to innovate in the food and beverage sector, as it did with Chic Cabaret.
Enjoy Family Dining Experiences
Le Petit Chef, an interactive show for families that takes the dining experience to a new level. The animated character, a seven-year old cook from Marseille, appears on the tabletop and shows the audience how the dishes will be prepared.
Palladium also offers the Rafa Nadal tennis center at TRS Coral Hotel, and Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa. This resort offers Maya ceremonies and has Maya ruins on its property.
Palladium will enter 2024 with a bang, following a year of high demand.
Arizmendi Stewart said, “I am happy to tell you that we have already exceeded 2019 by 22 percent.” It’s been a fantastic year. We’re optimistic, despite a slight slowdown during the fall. If nothing changes, we expect to surpass 2019.
